Providing People with Places & Programs

360grassroots is in the beginning stages of implementing newly focused programs, while also establishing strategic direction for the organization moving forward.

Beulah Ranch in Midlothian will be the hub for housing some of these beneficial programs, run and & implemented by 360grassroots. Other locations around the community will be utilized as deemed appropriate for the specific offering.


360grassroots is currently focused on providing programs and educational offerings to support the community, initially targeting health and wellness, entrepreneurship, and arts/culture.


Health

& Wellness

The focus here would be to encourage healthy living among the community providing education and awareness for things like wellness opportunities, education and prevention, striving to make wellness easier, more achievable. Anticipated programs to accomplish this could be;

  • Seminars led by health professionals - education classes for healthy food, eating, cooking, etc.

  • Mentoring/Coaching - Mind, Body, Soul, Spirit

  • Health screenings/assessments

  • Exercise and stress reducing activities

Developing

& Growing Entrepreneurs

360grassroots believes in building character and developing dreams through collaboration, empowering people and the next generation to step into their full potential. 360grassroots wants to utilize real life experiences in controlled settings which will create gathering places for the community to come together and share with one another.

  • Skills workshops (leadership, business)

  • Creating networking opportunities

  • Social entrepreneurship - paying it forward

  • Teaching people how to start a business - providing business tools (business plans, setting goals), offering training on basic business practices, how to launch a business

  • Creating opportunities for older adults, i.e technology

  • Developing dreams

  • Info center - for assessment, resources and research

  • Community planting/harvesting events to learn about healthy foods and farmers market

  • Empowering people and the next generation to step into their full potential

  • Walking & hiking nature trails, while teaching about sustainable and edible plants, flowers, etc.
